We source these cork balls in Portuga, where they are handcrafted one by one, from layered slices of pure cork. Unlike most cork balls on the market, which are made from agglomerated cork, ours are crafted solely from natural cork. An age-old Portuguese craftsmanship tradition. This results in a completely distinct appearance, with the unique charm that only nature can provide.

The two larger sizes originate from a factory that ceased production several years ago. Their distinctive vintage quality, especially in the case of the 90 mm ones, is a result of the passage of time and the influence of nature. The presence of cracks and imperfections only enhances their irresistible charm.

This cork is sourced from Portuguese forests, boasting 100% natural, renewable, recyclable, and biodegradable properties. Unlike wood, harvesting cork oak tree bark doesn't harm the tree; instead, a fresh layer of cork regenerates over the next nine years before the next harvest. Cork has a history spanning thousands of years, and its future relies on our choices. Our forest thanks you!
